It Started With Architecture and Construction

Glenn founded Crimson in 2000 with the goal of bringing architecture and contracting together.
He saw a gap between the design of a home and the work required to build it, and believed a more
connected anoroach could lead to better homes and a better experience for homeowners.
With a background in architecture and construction.
Glenn has spent his career working on custom homes, major renovations, additions, and complex residential projects throughout the Chicagoland area.
He remains involved in the desion. planning. and overall direction of the company.

Angel Hernandez
Joining Crimson in 2023, Angel quickly became indispensable with his leadership aptitude. With a background in landscaping, restoration, and carpentry, his enthusiasm and problem-solving skills are invaluable. In his free time, Angel enjoys philosophy, science, advancing his education, and spending time with his family.
Chuck Trefz
With an honors degree in civil engineering from University of Illinois and an MBA from DePaul, Chuck brings extensive experience in commercial and residential construction. A Crimson veteran, he is committed to quality and enjoys hiking, biking, and raising awareness for multiple sclerosis.
Heidi Monteith
Designing homes since 1982 and a Crimson team member since 2020, Heidi excels in personalized design solutions. With specialized certificates and competition accolades, she enhances client visions while addressing design challenges. Passionate about creative arts, she values reading, traveling, and live theatre with her husband. Aspires to be a Dragon Rider.
Alexander Gallegos
Joining Crimson in 2022, Alex brings 25 years of experience and excels in project management by harmonizing customer vision and construction integrity. With a background in Japanese joinery, he values transparency and professionalism. Outside work, he enjoys golf and Harley rides, envisioning adventures in Colorado.
